New Live SYSTEM UPDATE Show Tonight on Locals, at 7:00 p.m. ET
As we prepare for the real launch of our new nightly live prime-time show on Rumble, our test-runs continue so that we can collaborate with our subscribers to perfect the program.
Last week we announced our plans to air a nightly test-run show for two weeks on Locals of our new, soon-to-debut, live nightly news program, SYSTEM UPDATE. As we explained, until we are ready to launch and then produce a five-night-per-week, one-hour live show on Rumble, we intended to air two weeks or so of test-run episodes, available exclusively for our paid subscribers here, in order to perfect the show and to do so collaboratively with all of you. The plan, once we launch on Rumble, is that after each one-hour program — which will be freely available to the public — we will always do an after-show on Locals to take questions and hear feedback; that after-show will be available only to our paid subscribers on Substack. For this two weeks of pre-launch episodes, we are also airing our interactive after-show on Locals once the one-hour live show itself concludes.
Our plans were unfortunately derailed by a significant worsening in our family’s health crisis, making it impossible for me last week to do the work and devote the attention necessary to produce a high-quality show for you. Things have thankfully stabilized some, allowing me more energy and time to devote myself to this program, and so our intention is to return with a new live test-run program on Locals this evening (Monday), starting at our regular broadcast time of 7:00 pm ET.
For tonight's show, we will explore the hysteria provoked by Elon Musk’s mild restorations of some free speech on Twitter, CBS News’ acknowledgement that the Hunter Biden laptop was fully authentic all along (a claim they aggressively mocked and denied prior to the 2020 election), and other newsworthy topics. Our team spent last week incorporating much of the feedback which our audience provided after that first test-run show — tonight you’ll see significant changes and what we believe are improvements that came from audience feedback after our first-ever test show — as we prepare for our ultimate launch on Rumble. For those who did not watch that first test-run episode live, you can watch the full episode here on Locals here, and the inter-active after-show here. That first test-run episode, which covered how Washington Democrats are using censorship as a weapon, developments in the war in Ukraine, and emerging conflicts within GOP politics, did indeed have some glitches and areas that needed improvement, as we predicted, which is the reason we are airing these test episodes before launching on Rumble.
We hope you’ll join us tonight for the live show at 7:00 pm ET, and then the interactive after-show, where we will continue to take questions and hear your suggestions and reactions. Anyone who is a paid subscriber to our Substack page will automatically become a full subscriber on Locals with no additional charge, simply by signing up for a Locals account using the same email address that you use for your Substack account. That Locals account will enable you to watch all of our test-run shows, as well as participate in the interactive after-show that we will air once we debut on Rumble.
Glenn, this is very ambitious, very welcome, and I look forward to supporting it all the way.
Just one suggestion. A nice regular segment with you insulting the pants off of Jimmy Dore would provide good comic relief. You have great chemistry with him, and the little bastard seems to enjoy it. (I love you both). Avanti!
May God continue to watch over David.
