Glenn Greenwald: This is Glenn Greenwald, and I'm back with the new episode of System Update here on our home on Rumble and what I want to do is look in a fairly in-depth way what I regard as a rather consequential and disturbing event, which is the ongoing FBI targeting of Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe, as well as other people associated with Project Veritas.
And I wanted to look at this case in a somewhat in-depth way, both because I think it's important unto itself, but also because it is one of the most vivid windows yet into what I regard as an extremely authoritarian tactic that has become increasingly common as a means of attacking press freedoms by people who want to attack a free press while pretending they're not doing it, which is the claim that the people, his press freedom that they're attacking aren't really journalists.
