Glenn! You have been the keystone to keeping our sanity in place for the last 3 years! Thank you for your level headed, investigative, unbiased and stellar reporting. We are understandable of the need to make the change - and in full support! We are hoping there will also be a plan for a streaming Substack app! ? Hope there are plans? Because the occasional video with your hot-peppered and “on point” spicy sense of humor sprinkled into the gumbo of the world’s current events - it would be so ENORMOUSLY appreciated- Bonne chance mon Ami!
I like this format better, I can consume it more easily in snippets than the nightly live video. Welcome back and look forward to reading more of your POV. P.S. please cross share more often to X
I was an early viewer of System Update and an associated Locals member. Over time, though, I drifted away as the topics — while important — began to feel repetitive. How many times can one revisit the saga of Jeffrey Goldberg? More than I would have ever thought. I’m hoping this new venture brings a broader range of coverage. In the end, I think you’re a strong journalist, and I believe your heart is in the right place.
So glad to have you back on Substack, Glenn! I've watched you on Rumble whenever possible, but love the written word more than video because it's easier to pause, reflect, and re-read your posts. Thank you for all the work that you've been doing over the years. Your many sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
Glad to see Greenwald back on Substack which, among other things, has a commenting system that's much better-suited to discussion than Rumble or Locals. I should acknowledge that I don't plan to comment here too often, though.
On any platform, one of the dangers is audience capture, which is often intertwined with the hard-to-resist tendency to place one's hopes in a politician's power-seeking. If it is not ridiculous to say so, I don't plan to contribute to the audience capture. It is fair to say that Greenwald (born 1967) is approaching the age-range of political maturity. His intelligence, his devotion to principle, his well-informedness, and his ethical level are all well above average, and one can only hope that he will find ways to make noticeable improvements in each of them.
Glenn, you are the reason I found Substack. You left a month or two later. Welcome home. I’ve got over a hundred subscriptions. Thriving community or writers and readers.
Happy to welcome you back to Substack! I loved System Update, I’m going to miss the daily shows, but I’m sure it’ll be great to get your life back.

Welcome back Glenn. All the very best.
Fuckin’ A!
Glenn is fearless. There isn’t a journalist anywhere that I trust more.

Been missing your long form essays, Glenn. You are the best in the biz at dissecting current events in depth. Hurrah!
Welcome back! Glad you are here. I found Substack because of you!
