Right so hes not a bullshit artist hes just pointing at SC as a state for spending 2x on prisoners what it spends on students, while at the same time ignoring the fact his own state is worse and spends 3x? That's not being a bullshit artists?

What's he doing there then?

Have any of the MENSA members here that support the socialist Sanders ever considered that SC spends more on prisons because they have significantly more criminals than VT?

It's per STUDENT and per INMATE, not total, for the jackbooted nazis in denial.

Ignore facts and support candidates spreading misinfo much? I only took issue with Bernies mouth because I had both gone to school in SC and been in jail there so I feel I have firsthand knowledge of the very facts he is quoting. Since I also lived in VT I knew Bernie was full of shit and always has been.

How about you, you are OK with Bernie pointing at someone else as a "bad example" when his own state is worse off? You don't think thats a bullshit tactic? Really?

" ever considered that SC spends more on prisons because they have significantly more criminals than VT?"

What would be the reason(s) for that?

Please be specific as to what about SC's "culture" causes it to have more crime than Vermont?

As someone who lived in both states they are apples and oranges. The main difference that I would point out is that Vermont is like 21st in median income and SC is like 45th or something.

So one state has both higher incomes and a more complex tax system with corresponding social services supporting it.

IsnтАЩt there also a huge difference in crime, especially violent crime, between the two? Or between VT and most all states?

There are thousands of papers/discussions alleging correlation between median income and crime. Put it in a search engine if you need.

More criminals.

Bernie is a United States senator who works out of DC. He does not hold a political office here in his home state, nor does he have any authority over our state's budget. I think a lot of you are missing this fact.

He's been a senator for 13 years. He was also a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Vermont's at-large district for 17 years and mayor of Burlington for 8. Thats 40 years of nothing just like the rest of the lifers in the DNC. Joe Biden being a prime example.

You are cheating yourself as a voter if you think all your rep has to do is yell angrily about capitalism and name post offices. At least, in my opinion.

I've spent years in VT from Winooski to Bennington and lived in NH for 5 years. I know VT as well as any non-resident, I'd like to think. I also have friends who live there.

In 40 years of government, in a completely dominated DNC state government, and he still cant get anything done and here you are his apologist.

Do you visit him at his lake house and talk about how bad the political elite are while reminding him how he backed Hillary?
